- We checked out one of NYC’s hottest new vegetarian restaurants with my two biggest fans of plant- based diet - my mom and my mother-in-law. 🍏 From the spinach pasta to crispy dosa to the beluga lentils — we savored every BITE. It was an amazing meal which for once was NOT gluttonous. We finished the meal did not feel drowsy, bloated or guilty for the meal we had consumed. 🍎 Whether you are a herbivore, carnivore or pesceterian, there is no denying the importance of a incorporating vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans and nuts into your diet. After Angelina Jolie’s mother died of breast cancer, she was found to be positive for BRCA gene which increases her risk for breast cancer. 🔹 Recently,researchers found an additional 72 gene mutations which lead to the development of breast cancer. This adds to previous research bringing the total number of known variants to 180! 🔹 As we continue to identify more genes that are associated with various conditions and cancers, we can use this information to tailor medical treatments to the individual patient.
