- DEAR THIEF, It is very obvious that the theft of the top end of my engine last Thursday night was a direct action to the posting on Instagram and facebook of me rebuilding my 1949 Panhead engine on the Thursday day. Which means there is a great chance that you are someone that follows me or is closely connected to me through social media. And that there a good chance you will see this post. That is the sadest part or this theft, you are apart of our community!! It is also obvious that this theft was a 'Ordered Job', the twenty-four parts that where stolen were spread across a large work table and a set of draws, you knew what you wanted and you knew the parts needed to complete the top end. I wish to tell you the back story of what you stole, these were not just some random parts stolen from some random bike. The bike that these parts belonged to is a bike i spent years and years finding parts for, hours and hours slaving away to saving up for, cleaning, repairing, creating and polishing. This is a bike that was invited to the Brooklyn Invitation in 2014, hundreds of photos of the bike are posted on hundreds websites across the internet. It has been featured in dozens magazines around the world from the US to Japan and all across Europe, this does not make this bike special but it makes it well known, and there for the parts are well known. people will recognise these parts and you will be caught!! Thanks to the help of friends across the internet the two posts reporting the theft have been viewed by an estimated 40,000 people on Facebook and Instagram, shared 142 times on FB, and reposted dozens of times on instagram across the world. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day you will be caught!! someone will recognise these parts and you will pay a heavy price for stealing something that did not belong to you inside our small community. And lastly you are everything this community is NOT about, you are a person green with envy, to lazy to work hard to buy what you wish for. As i worked evenings, saving for these parts, missing reading to my son before bed, you were probably wasting your life on something meaningless. You are absolute Scum!!

- HELP! HELP! Thanks everyone for your comments, this was a very specific robbery, they only took parts that made up the ‘top end’ and nothing else in the entire workshop!! These parts were in various places on the work table and in draws. They knew exactly what they wanted, they knew what parts were for what. PLEASE SHARE. I find it hard to believe someone will get away with this. The heads were STD Custom heads, which are not that common. The rocker covers were the rare original style, because they are made of aluminum. Any help would be appreciated, because unless they are returned my Panhead will be out this season 😞😞
