- I had an amazing weekend out in New Mexico competing at my first ever Open National level comp-- The Yank n' Yard. Some of the most legendary climbers in the world competed and it was so fun to go against them in the first round. I'm really happy with my 14th place finish against that group! The next day I went back for the citizens comp to gain more experience on different climbs and I wound up taking 1st in the 19 and under category. 3rd day on we stopped by Priest Draw for a short session. Here's one of my flashing the classic line "Anorexic" V6. Such an amazing area! Psyched for the next stop of the National Cup Series in SF next month! 📸@jessewphoto

- I never could of imagined that what I thought was just another sprained ankle could turn into something that takes me out of climbing for so long. Because of the cartilage damage involved, I've been walking on crutches, putting no weight on my right leg for 2 months now. Just as the climbing season was beginning makes it even harder. I had so many expectations for myself this winter so it's hard to have to sit out of all the comps and fun climbing trips. A few days ago I got my cast off and was told to gradually start putting weight back on the right side. It still hurts to put weight on it which scares me but I'm trying to stay hopeful that with the PT I'll be starting will help, and I can be back climbing soon. Thanks everyone for sending positive vibes my way. . Throwback to before I was injured at #Blackmountain. On a fun one "Center Visor" (v6) 📷: @jessewphoto

- First weekend in a long time that I won't be climbing... instead I will be sitting at home waiting for a cast to be put on. Last weekend I headed up to Bishop for the first time this season with the squad. After the first day of trying new things and saving my skin for something I was psyched on, we headed to "Seven Spanish Angels" for the sunset. I tried it a bit and finally when it felt like it was about to go, I told myself it would be my last attempt. Sure enough it was... I fell awkwardly off the top and landed in between the pads. My ankle was swollen the whole rest of the trip and what we hoped was just a sprain turned out to be broken... Words cannot express how heartbroken I am about this but I am thankful this happened now and not in the middle of the season. Now my plan is to focus on upper body training while I wait for it to heal. Thanks for literally carrying me around and taking care of me all weekend @jessewphoto, @mgirlsclimb, @theaclimbs, and @mmarcuson -- and thanks to all of you guys for supporting me. 💕

- Still pretty bummed that I did not do very well in finals yesterday at SCS Divisonals and I will not be moving on to Nationals. But I'm exited for the new adventures to come this summer, like climbing outside and getting ready for bouldering season. Also I want to say thank you to my amazingly supportive coach, @jessewphoto for everything you do for me. Without you all these losses would be a lot harder. Thanks for reminding me that it's just one comp with one climb and that doesn't define me as a climber. I also want to thank @mike5.9 and @galpstar for everything you guys do to train and support me and everyone on @teamboulderdash . . . . This is a picture taken by @anoukklapp of me on "NRA" with the best spotters and people I could ever ask for @jessewphoto and @abba_zabba. @abba_zabba I hope your having fun in Vermont but come back soon so we can get back outside!
