- #realtraining It has taken me 3 training sessions of chickening out when trying to do a backhandspring on a hard floor. Today was the 4th session of trying to dare to do it. I had to run twice to an another room with a soft floor where I can do it easily and then I finally just did it (after counting myself in 😂) 💪🏻Later I did it in my choreo without any problem ❤️ Yep, I (happy) dance a lot between my attempts hahaha. I didn't film this one to share it but it was too funny not to share xD

- Okay now when I post this, it's official: my goal is to perform my first ever #pdrainbowmarchenko in less than in 3 weeks! 🌈🌈🌈Today I did so good! It still takes few attemps to nail my deepest position even though I warmed up with a 75min backbend session and definitely had my back, shoulders & hip flexors ready for a full marchenko. It's like I need to remind my body about the technique few times before it remembers what to do so I'll just keep repeating and hopefully my muscle memory will pick it up soon. I've been working so hard for this move that I can't help smiling every time I nail it! 😊 #pole #poledance #ig_poledance #poledancemotivation #poledancenation #poledancingscandinavia #xpoleusa #poledancersofinstagram #unitedbypole

- Since I've been sick and have to stay away from pole today too so I've been killing time with watching my training videos. This is pretty much how my learning process usually looks like :P In my previous post you can see how this turned out to be. Different people have different preferred ways of learning. Just some (not scientific) examples of people learning pole: 1) People who want to hear an explanation on a detail level. 2) People who learn by seeing someone demonstrating how to get into a trick. 3) People who need to try and fail before they understand what they are doing. Which student are you? 1) The one asking million questions. 2) "Can you show it one more time?" 3) The one who hangs upside down and needs the teacher to put you into the right position or carry you around because you are all confused. Anyone who has ever taught me knows that I'm very dominant 3 and extremely bad at listening 😂

- For me a new skill counts first when I'm able to dance it! I've been working this backflippy thing for a month now and finally I dared to put it into a combo like a casual little part of the choreo ❤ The technique is not as good as when I do it as a single trick but still it felt very safe and consequent today. When I started pole I used to be the daredevil type of dancer wanting to learn all the crazy flips but since my knee injury & two surgeries I've been too scared to train risky moves even though I'm released from physiotherapy and have no restrictions anymore. This month I decided to force myself into flipping again and happily I've not only re-learned some of my old skills but also learned new stuff! I've went from being super scared to trusting my body again. Trusting my body doesn't mean that I'm taking unnecessary risks but that many of my mental blocks have disappeared. We all know the feeling when you know you're able to do something but the moment it's time to let go and just do it your brain says no and you back out ;) #pole #poledance #ig_poledance #poledancemotivation #poledancenation #poledancingscandinavia #xpoleusa #poledancersofinstagram #unitedbypole

- WHOHOOOOOOOOOO! ❤❤❤ I've been faceplanting this one for the whole June and today it finally (sort of) happened! I know it's a mess but today I managed to catch it for the very first time 😊 I haven't had any spotters while learning this one, just one elastic band ;) Swipe to see the progress from faceplant into catching it with the band and finally the very first catch without the band with happy dance of course! It took around 200-250 attempts in June to nail the first one. #nevergiveup #workinprogress
