- Here it is - a deadlift tehchnique breakdown with conditioning and progressing tips. It's a 2min video, swipe to see the second part! Please, don't break your shoulders! Deadlifts are only for ADVANCED dancers with good technique, stability and active shoulder mobility. Ask your instructor if you're not sure if your body is ready for this move. Rememer to warm up especially your shoulders, elbows and wrists carefully before trying any of these exercises. Please let me know if you find this helpful!

- New work in progress! I didn't manage to nail the flip from brass grip to the same side shoulder split so I came up with an idea to try to catch it like a fonji instead. I'm sure it's been done before but it's a new trick for me 😊 I can't wait to try this on better ceiling height so that I can do better fonji - it was a struggle to film this combo because I kept kicking the ceiling (and probably will lose couple of toe nails after today's practice haha). #pole #poledance #ig_poledance #poledancemotivation #poledancenation #poledancingscandinavia #xpoleusa #poledancersofinstagram #unitedbypole

- This is my FIRST EVER successful #pdrainbowmarchenko ❤️❤️❤️ I'm nowhere close to be qualified to teach this move because I'm still learning but today I came up with an idea to try it with an elastic band. I've never understood how to push and pull for the grip and maximum extension when I've tried this move with a spotter. The elastic band is perfect for me because I still rely on my own body when trying to find the balance. Even more important - this is how I'll learn how it feels in my body when I do it right. Today I actually believe that the day will come when I nail this move! Thank you @marioncrampe & @daphnelux for your tips for marchenko 😘#nevergiveup

- Competition season is over and I’m so happy to have time for other stuff now! Here are some of my current plans in addition of filming pretty combos for IG :P (99% of my training is not pretty!) Just a reminder that a training session counts even if there is no online evidence of it. 1. Working on technique and strength (both sides!). Both maintaining and improving old skills and learning tricks from my to do -list. 2. Research: playing around, being curious, getting inspired by different things. Keep hunting songs I want to dance to. Try to come up with idea(s) I want to bring on stage. I've decided not to sign up for any new competition before I know what I want to do. 3. Improvisation: my very weakest link. No pressure, just dancing on and/or off pole a bit during each session and hopefully getting a bit better. 4.  Cross training & prehab: Doing also other training than pole, work on my active flexibility & stick to my shoulder prehab routine. I always have goals to work towards to but I don't write programs or plan my training strictly. I do pole for fun so if I feel like rolling on the floor in 8inch heels for the whole session, I'll do that ;)

- Today is the last day of rehearsals before @poletheatre_scandinavia on Saturday. This time my competition preparation has been very short & intensive but still quite harmonic. After having a really bad competition when I performed in Sweden last time I just want to show people why I dance. It’s not about the prices or titles because if you feel like a dead robot on stage, it’s not really worth it. My only goal for this weekend is to DANCE at home stage, feel it and hopefully make the audience feel it too ❤ Photo: @tuulaylikorpiphotography
