- Lunchtime walks with @adam.m.dunne & @westcoast_weenies 🌳☀️ Ads and I have been stuck in the office most of this week trying to finish off our latest project...I’m sure most of you can agree that being stuck at a desk for hours can make you feel FLAT 🤯😑 Fun fact for you (which Adam actually told me 😜) after 90minutes working on a task, your brain power starts to decrease and it becomes harder to work (and think) at your full potential! 🧠 SO Make sure you guys have a reset every 90min! Even if you can’t go for a walk, get up, have a stretch, a bathroom break, fill up your drink bottle, walk around the office...anything to get your mind off the task your doing so you can come back at 100% 👊🏼 #lunchbreak #brainpower ab♥️x

- Cuddles with my little girl ♥️ you can probably see in the corner of this pic that our bed has no base 😬 As soon as Adam and I got sausage dogs we ditched the base and put our mattress on the floor...so the @westcoast_weenies could get up and down to cuddle with us! 👩🏼🐶🐶👱🏼‍♂️haha #shortlegproblems Safe to say they hog the bed now 🙄 Yep. Straight under the blanket in between the two of us! 😝 Oh well, at least their great hot water bottles in winter!! #dachshundsofinstagram ab♥️x

- Just landed in Sydney! 🙌🏼 I watched a documentary on the plane about plastic pollution (specifically in our oceans). I’ve seen a few of these types of docs and every time it gets me thinking about what I can do to reduce my plastic footprint 👊🏼 We not perfect, and we can’t all just stop using plastic full stop, but there are definitely simple things we can adjust in our day that will make a BIG difference 🙌🏼🌏 1. Stop using plastic shopping bags and bring your own! (I’ve been doing this for a while and it just become habit! Have a few in your car, handbag etc) 2. Don’t buy bottled water in plastic. Choose glass or better yet, get your own re-usable bottle. 3. Get a reusable keep cup for your coffee! Take away coffee cups have plastic lining and can’t be recycled! plus the lids are usually plastic too! (You’ve all seen my pretty glass @keepcup 😉) 4. Don’t use plastic drinking straws! Say no, or bring your own metal/bamboo/silicon/decompostable one (just throw a few in your bag just incase) 5. Reduce the amount if glad wrap (cling wrap) that you use...try reusable air tight containers, jars, eco wax wraps... 6. Use eco bin liners (bags) there are plenty of brands that now make decompostable bin bags! . If you guys have any more plastic hacks please write them below!! 😬👇🏼 Let’s keep the ideas coming!! - Flows are always better with the @westcoast_weenies 😌🐾♥️ We took Charlie to get acupuncture today to help the tightness in her back! ☺️ (For those of you that weren’t following back in December, Charlie broke her back and was paralysed 😔 and had to have emergency surgery. We have done some great rehab with her to get her back walking and running over the last 8months! 💪🏼😬)... She handled her first needle session so so well! - My top 6 hacks to help you stick to your workouts! 😁👇🏼 1️⃣ On Sunday night plan out your week of workouts in your training diary & put reminders in your phone! If you make time for your workouts your 100% more likely to stick to them! ✏️ 2️⃣ If your working out early in the morning set up your training clothes and shoes at the foot of your bed AND put your alarm in the opposite corner of the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off in the morning! ⏰ 3️⃣ Have training clothes and shoes in your car so you can stop by the gym or park on the way home from work/school! 👟 4️⃣ Organise a walk/workout/gym date during the week with a friend or family member. Other people will keep you accountable! 👯‍♀️ 5️⃣ Have a collection of workouts you can do at home in your living room so you always have a back up if it’s miserable outside and you don’t want to leave the house! ⛈ 6️⃣ Make a tip jar. - After this flow today Adam asked me if I have a goal or purpose to my practise and what inspires me to keep coming back to my mat everyday🧘🏼‍♀️ It actually made me realise that each day I practise for different reasons... Sometimes it’s because my body is stiff and sore and needs a bit of movement to feel somewhat normal again (like today!), sometimes I feel adventurous and want to experiment with challenging postures and transitions, sometimes I want to build my strength and stamina, and sometimes I just need some time to clear my mind and let my body just float through a flow 🍃😌🍃 In the end, it doesn’t matter why I stepped onto the mat. I always leave feeling better off... I feel put back together. Tune in and listen to what you need from yourself. No matter what your reason is.
