Awareness creates control and mind muscle connection. If you can do the pose but no awareness then there is no point, what we want is growth, understanding, learnings so when you come to do other poses you already have the awareness of how to use your core and it makes it easier for you to learn and a much more sound and safe practice. Like maths you all have a formula to strength, control, flexibility and awareness to your practice; play build your formula of awareness so you can create any pose you want. You may have heard one of your teachers say, “Child’s Pose is always an option throughout practice.” This pose can be used to quiet the body and the mind, and help you look inward to find peace. Whenever stress takes over, whenever you need to reconnect with your breath, your intention, Balasana is always there for you. A primary connector between the torso and the leg, the psoas is also an important muscle off the mat: it affects posture, helps stabilize the spine, and, if it’s out of balance, can be a significant contributor to low back and pelvic pain. - #stripdownsundays For incredible @dwinnerxfit and @sultryabyss This is me. This is me being real. I am not hiding behind makeup, I am not hiding behind clothes, I am not hiding in the shadows. I am not hiding in a filter of edited me. I am being unapologetically myself. Why people may ask?....well that is what we are born to do, that is what all of us are talking about doing in our posts. We are all trying to be ourselves amidst the pressures, expectations of others and life.....Society and others have tried to trick us into thinking we must cover up, hide and apologise and cower away from all we are. But I cannot do that anymore. I cannot keep feeling life isn't valuable unless I meet all the requirements of life and society. I cannot do that because I cannot let my daughter do that. Happiness is only available to those who wish to be themselves and love themselves unapologetically in all that was given to them mind, body and soul and if there is one thing I would like my daughter to have is happiness. So here I am a little bit real, a little too much for some, a little too little for others, a little I have no idea what for many but at least I am trying. Because if it is true I only get one shot at this life I am no longer going to give it away to all the hatred, lies, expectations, worries and fears.... I am only going to proceed as best I can with love for life, myself and others and all that ever was. Love is the way!

We are all trying to be ourselves amidst the pressures, expectations of others and life.....Society and others have tried to trick us into thinking we must cover up, hide and apologise and cower away from all we are. But I cannot do that anymore. I cannot keep feeling life isn't valuable unless I meet all the requirements of life and society. I cannot do that because I cannot let my daughter do that. Happiness is only available to those who wish to be themselves and love themselves unapologetically in all that was given to them mind, body and soul and if there is one thing I would like my daughter to have is happiness. So here I am a little bit real, a little too much for some, a little too little for others, a little I have no idea what for many but at least I am trying. Because if it is true I only get one shot at this life I am no longer going to give it away to all the hatred, lies, expectations, worries and fears.... I am only going to proceed as best I can with love for life, myself and others and all that ever was. Love is the way!

In 10 seconds you can go from having the worst day to the best day. In 10 seconds 42 babies are born in the world, about 20 babies are born into poverty and about two babies are born with birth defects.
