- “Holy is this grave, holy is this earth that has held the gentle embrace of the bodies of all who are buried in this cemetery. As we read the name upon the marker stone, we rejoice because that name has been written for all ages in the palm of your Divine hand.“ Balloon launch in memory of our sweet baby girl at Dad’s grave today. Shedding a few grateful tears for life, family freedom, and heroes proved. 🇺🇸 . . . . #memorialday #neverforget #miapow #veterans #heroes #landofthefree #homeofthebrave #america #godblessamerica #prayer #family #hallowedground #faith #catholic #navy #army #miscarriage #remember #usa

- #Repost @dynamisalliance ・・・ THEY GAVE UP EVERYTHING- "It is, in a way, an odd thing to honor those who died in defense of our country, in defense of us, in wars far away. The imagination plays a trick. We see these soldiers in our mind as old and wise. We see them as something like the Founding Fathers, grave and gray haired. But most of them were boys when they died, and they gave up two lives -- the one they were living and the one they would have lived. When they died, they gave up their chance to be husbands and fathers and grandfathers. They gave up their chance to be revered old men. They gave up everything for our country, for us. And all we can do is remember." - Ronald Reagan #HONOR #EXT17 #everydayismemorialday

- A Letter to My Baby, . Oh, what elation and disbelief surged through my spirit when I learned you were on the way. As we prepared for Easter, the season of new life, my soul was filled with humble awe and wonder. The Author of Life was blessing us with the ultimate gift…YOU! . Sharing the news with your daddy was unforgettable. He laughed and cried and praised God when he learned you were coming…due on his birthday! I worried that people may not understand, so I guarded the miracle of your life like a priceless treasure known only to us. Your siblings prayed for you every day and for your growth and safety. Your sister, Karolina was one of the FIRST to hear the news. She is a special prayer warrior. I knew she would cherish our beautiful secret. . Your first ultrasound brought much trepidation. Would you be okay? My age. My history. Would your tiny heartbeat be there? At six weeks, I was able to glimpse your perfect body complete with the most glorious drumming heartbeat, strong and clear. Every moment I dreamed of you. Every day my love grew. . Oh, my child! You received Jesus in the Holy Eucharist in such glorious places! In Rome, Italy, Padua, and Florence. Daddy and I even prayed for your future and soul under the moonlight of Assisi. . At ten weeks, we were blessed to see you in my womb again. Grandma was there, and how you danced for us! You were growing! . At 11 weeks we learned you might have Down Syndrome. I want you to know that I would gladly have endured anything with you. Jesus tells us to “Be not afraid,” and while mommy’s faith is shaky sometimes, I always know that God is holding me and he’s holding you too. . We were anxious for yet another ultrasound. This time with the news that you are a GIRL! . We also learned that shortly before we gazed upon you, your precious heart stopped beating. . As my belly begins to emerge with the outward sign of your life and morning sickness rages on, you have flown away and left us with the sweetest dream and gift of your perfect soul. . I will carry you for just a little while longer and I want you to know how much I love you.. {continued in comments}

- And so the winter dies with a blast of icy wind Like a mournful cry, it's giving up the ghost again. Another sheet of snow melts away to gold and green Look at Peter go, he's racing to the tomb to see . Where has my Jesus gone? He is not dead, He is risen Risen indeed . And now the flowers bloom like a song of freedom Behold the earth is new, if only for the season And so the seed that died for You becomes a seedling Just put your hand into the wound that bought your healing . And let your heart believe He is not dead, He is risen Risen indeed . And the rain will fall on the furrow It immerses the earth in sorrow Mary, the sun will rise again ☀️ Mary, the sun will rise again ☀️ Daughter, listen, listen Daughter listen, He speaks your name.. -Risen Indeed. Talking about Resurrection Letters Vol. 1 by @andrewpetersonmusic on this week’s podcast. 💕

- I know that many of you remember Karolina in your prayers regularly and I just want to sincerely thank you. Yesterday was a GREAT day. She said "It's not working" when my phone battery died. When I was cleaning up the kitchen before bedtime, I heard her crying in the other room. I asked her what was wrong? She answered "hurt toes." I can't express what a BIG deal this is. ~ Before this year, Karolina rarely replied to any direct question and never used more than one word at a time (unless she was singing). Last week, she said "bath"?" I replied, "Tomorrow, sweet girl " and she answered back "Got a bath last night?" These are the first seeds of CONVERSATION! Lord Jesus, for the first time in almost eight years, I can imagine one day having a conversation with my daughter! I always knew she was “in there” and she is finally beginning to emerge, little by little! ~ Today, she gave me direct eye contact with a smile for this photo! An early Mother's Day gift, beyond price. Feeling very grateful to see my daughter bloom into such a beautiful rose. 🌹 Thank you for your prayers for our family and our sweet girl. God bless you! 💐. . . . #autism #lifeisbeautiful #autismawareness #autismmom #asd #specialneeds #autismfamily #speech

- Happy feast of St. Mark! God’s day-planner is better than anything I could ever schedule. He blessed us with a divine appointment at St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, in the crypt, just steps from the Saint’s tomb. While no photos are allowed in the sprawling church, we were permitted to capture a few images of this exquisite hidden grotto. Many of us were moved to tears. No words. Just a profound feeling of consolation from a Father who loves us so intimately. St. Mark, pray for us!

- The last few days have been a divine whirlwind. Florence, Cinque Terre, and Padua. Many churches do not allow photography. Honestly, I don’t even know if it’s humanly possible to capture the full splendor with a camera anyway. Today we visited Scrovengi Chapel and many in our group loved it even more than the Sistine Chapel (however, no pics). Giotto was a brilliant artist. I was also moved to tears by the basilica of St. Anthony. Many prayers offered there for your intentions. Oh, how He loves us so! . . . . #catholic #pilgrimage #italy #padua #padova #florence #thedavid #travel #catholicchurch #romancatholicchurch #art #middleages #duomo #holiday #vacation
