- Today is #susanbanthony birthday and on valentine's day was #fredrickdouglas birthday 🎂. I took the day to celebrate the blessings of being a woman and the freedoms we have in our country. A true honor to be in a room among over 1200 likeminded women. #elaineweiss was the speaker she has a book coming out on march 6th #thewomanshour im pictured here with her at the opening reception. We received some amazing chocolates from @hedonistchocolates that were so yummy. And the green #fredrickdouglas is a 3d printing of a statue that was created by students from the UofR! Always love seeing miss Anthony and have a roar with her! I can't forget the amazing quilt that is a work in progress for 2020 check out 2020Quilt.org to add your quilt block to history. But my most memorable time was sitting at the luncheon with my friend who is a immigrant from Colombia who just embraced every speakers words and was so full of excitement to be in America. I thought to myself if all of the women in America could be fly on the wall today they would see that we are the power of this planet and that our vote can change democracy! #womenssuffragecentennial. #womenvote @susanbhouse
