- Chocolate🍫 is my go-to when I'm stressed🙈 Having it in smoothie-form satisfies my chocolate craving, and doesn't give me the crash of just eating a whole chocolate bar💁 (not that there isn't a time and place for that too😅) • • Figuring out my class schedule this term has been quite the ordeal, along with getting into my new rhythm and routine. Realizing that it's important to schedule and take time for myself has become super apparent for me today. We can't perform for others (or even ourselves) if we don't take time to recharge🙏 • I know that I thrive and genuinely enjoy being busy, but often times it can be at the expense of putting myself and my health last. Which unfortunately is something that we pride people on in our society🤷 • I love that more and more people are advocating for self care, as it's something I think we could all pay more attention to. I know I personally feel "selfish " taking time for myself. So much so that it's hard to even relax or enjoy if I DO take time for myself. But scheduling in time with friends, meditations, and enjoyable movement is so crucial to our physical AND mental health🎇 So that's my rant for the day. It even makes me uncomfortable just to talk about taking time for myself🙈 Which I think just shows how engrained this societal stigma around "being productive and busy" is even so engrained in me. But, my hope is that this resonates with at least one of you as well❤ #Berryfitt

- Vegetable Miso Soup 🍜 inspired by me 🙋🏼‍♀️ I always love to create new and improved recipes! I decided to go with the flow the other night using some green onions, carrots, broccoli, bok choy, celery, mushroom and red peppers for veggies 🥕🥦🌶 while I felt a bit inspired so added in some Asian ingredients 👌😋🤲 • 1 package of chicken bones 2-3 carrots 2 celery Bunch of bok choy 8 mushroom 1 red pepper 1 brocolli 4 green onions 1 tablespoon of sesame oil 1 teaspoon of mirin 2 tablespoon of red miso paste Black pepper ( option boil in a separate pot Chinese noodles) • • 1️⃣ Boil a pot of water, then add in your choice of (chicken bones, beef bones) let cook on 7-8 for 15-20 minutes. Remove the skim of the top of the water as it cooks. 2️⃣ then add in the red peppers, broccoli, green onions, mushroom, carrots, celery, bok choy 3️⃣ let cook for another 10-15 minutes.
