- Ello fam, just me here post workout and with a drenched singlet 😂🤮 — Today I thought I’d get out of my comfort zone and try something different and I mixed weights with a HIIT and boy did I fuck myself up 😂 after my first set of four I didn’t wanna continue, but fear not I persevered through! — Which leads me to the next thing, my journey hasn’t been easy. Determination, motivation (whether thats my own doing or others), and of course endurance. - CAPABLE QUAD KILLERS Today's workout focus primarily on the quads. I started off with my squats. The goal was to get as many reps possible as I progressed in weight on every set. I managed to reach 445 lbs for one rep. _ Moving over to leg extensions, here i worked on building up to a 10 rep max and then dropping the weight and going to absolute failure on every drop set. _ For the leg press, feet slightly apart on the lower portion of the platform. Focus on pushing through the heels. Toes pointed straight. Go as deep as you can and on the way back up feel the muscle work! Do not lock your knees at the top to maintain tension on the muscle throughout the set. _ Last but not least, the lunge. Take a short step forward. The shorter the stride, the more quad dominant the movement becomes. On the way up, push off the mid foot on the forward leg.
