- ~ABBSS~ I used a Bosu Ball for today’s workout and my abs were crying by the end (as you can tell with my lovely clearly struggling facial expressions 😂) You can try this without the Bosu ball as well! 1️⃣ 12 Crunches 2️⃣ 10/ea side Side to Side Reverse Crunches 3️⃣ 10/ea side Side Crunch 4️⃣ 30 sec Mountain Climbers 5️⃣ 30 sec Plank 🔁 3x with 1-2 mins rest. . Using new equipment at the gym helps me from getting bored at the gym. If you think about it the gym is kinda like a playground with all these cool “toys” to play around with. . Training on a Bosu ball gives an extra kick to your abs to work harder as you are training on an unstable base. . Keep in mind doing ab exercises all day will not give you a flat stomach. You HAVE to eat right and incorporate a well rounded workout routine that incorporates cardio- there’s no easy way around it (sorry Girl Scout Cookies) . - Are you getting the most out of the cable crunch exercise? This is by far one of the most effective ways to build up the muscles of the Rectus abdominous(6pack muscles), when performed correctly! VIDEO ON THE RIGHT POOR FORM. By bending first from the hips I am engaging the hip flexors and using momentum to complete the movement, not much ab engagement at all. VIDEO ON THE LEFT GOOD FORM.
