- Think Iโ€™ve got a good balanced schedule here.... 4 x Strength Training ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป 3 x Cardio ๐Ÿ’ฆ 3 x Stretch/Recovery ๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™€๏ธ Max Out is basically #insanitymax30 #month2 so I hopefully wonโ€™t need to do this daily as itโ€™s more intense #hiit . However Iโ€™m not above modifying to start with if needs be. #cleanweek Active Flex & #coredeforce Active Recovery are both focused on stretching and recovering so in essence are my #restdays. And most importantly for me, I can still get in the #gym like I used to (without overtraining). This schedule may need tweaking but going to give it a go! I have been trying to maintain good habits and be kinder to myself. โค๏ธ Learning to be flexible and to listen to my body has really made a difference. - Day...well the streak is over ๐Ÿ˜” Turns out my back injury was more serious than I thought and I've been battling this sore throat/cold or whatever it is for four days now and it hit me hard today. I worked my ass off to get to the gym during third shift and fought through minor injuries but ultimately my body needed a break today. I did my best to stay on track with my food but I've spent most of the day sleeping to help my body get over this. Life happens, and knowing how to listen to your body during these times is very important. Rest, drink water, rest again, keep your food on point, and come back as soon as you are better. It's easy to get down and want to quit, believe me I've been there, more times than I can remember, but if it was easy everyone would do it! #restdays #comebackstronger #sickday
