- F’real guys, this week has been rough. I’m fighting major PMS, carb withdrawal and the kind of sugar cravings that whisper in your ear, “a little is fine. It won’t matter. You’ll do better tomorrow.” - I haven’t listened to that lying ass voice, I’ll tell you that much. But it hasn’t been easy. Weeks like this I remind myself why it’s important to allow yourself treats but not go off the rails. 1 donut every once in awhile won’t kill you. An entire sheet tray of pan dulce on the other haaaand... 🤦‍♀️ sometimes when all you want is sugar and carbs, a spoonful of peanut butter truly helps! - Bolognese sauce in a pinch! I cooked up ground turkey mixed with Italian pork sausage and onion. No draining because there’s nothing to drain! I cooked until pretty much dry because ground turkey tends to have a lot of moisture in it? 🤷🏻‍♀️ added a can of doced tomatoes and a generous amount of oregano basil and garlic powder, about 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and about 1/2 c water mixed with about a teaspoon of beef better than bouillon paste. At this point I reserved a portion from the pan for stuffed peppers later this week—maybe tomorrow 🤔. Added a jar of spaghetti sauce—lowest carb version I could find and added shredded parmesan and heavy cream. Mixed the kids up with some penne and ours topped spaghetti squash from the instant pot. Side salad with homemade ranch again! 🍝 🥗

- KETO STATS following 3 days of egg fasting: 6-8 eggs, 1 tbsp fat per egg, up to 25g cheese per egg each day, 2500ml water - counting hot lemon water and sparkling /still water. Yesterday's macros were the best I've recorded 82% fat, 17% protein, 1% carbs. No alcohol or anything other than eggs, fat and cheese funnily enough 🤣. Also calorie intake was 1800 which incidently is my calculated tdee. 5lbs total loss across 36 hours - no changes in measurements. Although I'm clearly in a state of ketones it could take months to actually reach ketosis but then once in that state extra carbs can be consumed so I'm interested in exploring that further and doing regular egg fasts. Today is a transition day back to a low carb high fat diet so I'll be introducing a small amount of plantbased carbs back in to ensure the weight stays off and I expect a maintain for weight loss next week - which I don't accept because I need to get back in the next stone bracket! 🤔 #keto #eggfast #eggfastresults #macros #weightlossresults #fatloss #weightloss #healthyfats #bulletproofcoffee #fatadapted #lchf #lchfdiet #realfood #qualityingredients #fullfat #myfitnesspal #fooddiary
