- Kinda hard to take selfies while walking... but here I am in my #cnoy toque on my way to volunteer for the Coldest Night of the Year walkathon! It’s pretty damn nice here in Nelson at the moment, but overall and especially in Edmonton people living outside in the winter have to be incredibly resilient and resourceful. Money raised from the #cnoy walk goes to funding local programs and services which support people experiencing and transitioning from homelessness. It’s not too late to donate! #volunteer #cnoy #mustardseed #nelsoncares #homelessness #fundraiser #socialjustice #resilience #vulnerability #getinvolved

- Little late for uncontrollable reasons but made it to @chocolatesetc to occupy this warming station during the annual @cnoyorg #coldestnightoftheyear #walk. Better #latte than never! The #CNOY walk is a fun, family friendly event to raise awareness around homelessness and poverty, and funds that will go towards helping those in need throughout #Canada. #chocolatesetc in #stcatharines will be donating time, space and #homemade #hotcocoa for walkers this evening. Come get warm and enjoy some #piano #tunes by yours truly. Think a wolf can’t make #music with something besides its vocal cords? It is quite pawsible, I’ll have you know... . . . . . . #wolfsomelife #pianoman #wolf #fruittart #coffee #cafe #fundraising #fundraiser #volunteering #goodcause #homelessness #poverty #canadian #canadians #freshcocoa #freshcoffee #hotchocolate #marganalized

- A place where I once spent lots of time - on the balcony of the office at The Briars, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. It used to get freezing cold there at night, but it never bothered me. I was sitting at that table using my laptop and one winter night Frank, the caretaker ranger came over and asked me if I was cold, because he was going to go home to his place and sit near the fireplace to stay warm. I told him that I wasn't cold at all, but when I went back to my car and checked the temperature it was zero degrees and I realised why Frank told me he was feeling cold. I must have just become used to living in the cold because I slept in my car every night for years. At that spot I ran a Little River Band fan page and reported back to Grahaem Goble on the progress of how many fans were joining. Eventually Stephen Housden who acquired the trademark complained to Facebook and the fan page was taken down, but it was a homeless man fighting to restore the dignity of the original founding members and voices of LRB, and nobody other than Graeham Goble knew it. Housden now living in exile in Ireland allowed the Fake USA Little River Band to use the name and swept the original songwriters and voices of the band under the carpet, who kept performing the songs of the founders of the band. I heard the song "Someone's Taken Our History" back in 2006 and told Graeham I would fight to help him and the original members get back their dignity. To me, that song was the real LRB and I later found out that both Glenn Shorrock and Been Birtles performed back up vocals, while Graeham Goble did the lead vocal. The bad people holding televisions in the video clip represented the fake USA LRB who were carrying away what never belonged to them. I didn't agree with the court decision to take away the name of the original members because it was a huge injustice and misrepresentation to the fans, so I vowed to fight the perpetrators to help Graeham and the boys. This would become my headquarters to fight the Fake USA Little River Band. #homelessness #birtlesshorrockgoble #graehamgoble #littleriverband #beebbirtles #glennshorrock #fakeusalittleriverband #fakeUSAlrb

- “ I made my last excuse yesterday.” Orlando Young, from south central Los Angeles, was living with his mother but had nowhere to go when she died and he became homeless. Young has battled with drug use but he was sober a while and had a job doing telephone sales, but the drugs always seem to lure him back to partying. He wants to be sober again, work and have a life off the streets. https://projects.dailynews.com/i-am-homeless/ #Endhomelessness #homelessness #streetportrait #blackandwhitephotography
