- Another day, another all black outfit. I swear my eyes are open! Need to keep drinking all the #coffee cause I’m feeling sleepy! I worked out with a personal trainer last night. I really enjoyed learning a new routine! We focused on #hiit #weightlifting and #stretching cause lord knows I don’t do enough of the last one! He also foam rolled my legs and boy do they HURT this morning!! - Another workout with my hunny and best friend in the books 😍💕 💥ATTN NEW YEARS RESOLUTION MAKERS💥⬇️ I remember there was a time when I refused to workout with him. It was a time when I was overweight, extremely self conscious, and uncomfortable. He would do these intense workouts with specific lifting for muscle groups and it was so intimidating to me. 👉🏼I didn’t know where to start👈🏼 and it was a big disconnect in our relationship for some time because it is such a big part of who he is. But honestly, everyone starts SOMEWHERE! And once I finally came to grips with the fact that to get where I wanted to be I’d have to start working out in the body I had right at that moment. I picked up a program called #bikinibodyguide by @kayla_itsines to get me started with specific, quick intense workouts.Thank god I didn’t give up and get discouraged. Now it’s some of the best time we get to spend together. My workouts have evolved into more HIIT/Athletic Training workouts and incorporated heavy lifting to get strong. Seeing what my amazing body can do even after giving birth to two beautiful boys, has been nothing short of impressive. I may be soft in areas, and riddled with stretch marks, but god damn this woman is strong as a mutha! 💪🏼🍑 🧦Oh and I got to wear my new favorite #stance socks! I’m not going to lie and say it wasn’t hard work, but it was and IS worth it. I attribute it to clean eating, HIIT and weight training. Of course I indulge in goodies every now and then, but NOTHING tastes as good as healthy feels. Eat well, Move daily, Hydrate often, Sleep lots, LOVE your body, and repeat for LIFE.
