- You ever start on a recipe and 30 mins in, you realize this is a lot of work but it’s too late to turn back? 🤔 Well, this is one of those recipes but it was totally worth it!!! The prep work was major but I kind of did it to myself by adding Yukon baby potatoes and celery in my fridge that had seen better days. @wholefoods had a sale on #epicbonebroth so I bought some and put that in the recipe. Also replaced the wine with more bone broth. Thanks to a friend that forwarded me the recipe from @paleoleap this Beef Bourguignon is a keeper! 👏🏼 DH ate 2 hearty bowls and my older one had it with rice. Score! Younger one wasn’t  into it 🙄, so I had him eat curry I made the other day from #whole30cookbook , mixed in with some rice.  He’s never had curry, so double score! Alright DH, you are officially on dish duty. 😂

However the handmade pasta, bottle of rose, cannoli “afternoon snack”, 2 IPAs and several bowls of captain crunch all definitely happened... so I’m back to that smoothie life once again 😌 . . . warm lunch smoothies are a great way to get back on track, stay full and ease your digestive system back into normalcy after a few days of travel. The above is my go-to recipe for my sweet potato smoothie base. You can buy pre-cut sweet potatoes just make sure to steam them first (the warmth and cooking process are what make it easier on your digestive system). I also used homemade oat milk in this recipe, but you can use any dairy-free option. The world is your .. nutmilk? • Now, let’s talk TOPPINGS: friends at @madegoodfoods sent me some delicious nut-free snacks, including these chocolate banana granola minis. I also added coconut shreds, bee pollen, cacao nibs and a little extra sunflower butter. Yes it’s a lot of carbs, but it’s filled with a ton of nutrients and superfoods and therefore is the healthier (not necessarily BETTER) option over a bagel. Feel free to debate that one in the comments though 🙃🥐
