The key to cutting bad habits for me is distraction. Filling the time I would normally do those things with healthier options! Take the time and implement new habits SLOWLY - don’t overwhelm yourself. One at a time until the habit no longer feels forced or stressful. . Newest habits in my daily routine ⤵️ 🌟Coconut oil pulling every morning (well most – not a fun experience when your hungover 😅) 🌟Lemon water + Vit D drops before breakfast 🌟Meal prepping egg bites for a lean but hearty breakfast on the go 🌟Daily vitamin regimen whenever convenient 🌟Collagen powder mixed with beet juice before bed 🌟MEDITATION QUESTIONS?! Before the summer I was very regimented in my routine because I was motivated and excited for all the plans I had made for the coming months. When all those finally hit I fell off the bandwagon almost completely. But im okay with that! Just because you build a healthy routine one month, doesn’t mean that’s gonna be the best routine for you every month. Things change, life happens, motivation dies - sticking to one routine all the time is nearly impossible! Be flexible, develop the habits and enforce them as much as you can. FIND A BALANCE. When you do, run with it, fall off of it and then GET BACK ON. The feeling of accomplishing the goals you set for yourself is the best! 🙌🏼 . Set your intention for the week and keep pushing until you make it happen. Your down time will be SO much more rewarding when you do 🤗 xx

- My theme for the last few years has been being selfish. Funny how most who come across the word immediately associate it with something negative. That's not the case at all. Being selfish from a standpoint of self love is loving one's self or giving yourself the permission to do so and NOT at the expense of others. Growing up I had the unique opportunity to watch two of the most influential people in my life help me realize the difference in practicing selfishness and selflessness. Unfortunately, this was lacking love and thus at the expense of someone else...most important of which was them--when practicing selflessness. Therefore I've come to adopt an approach to selfishness with a different and far more loving perspective. Bottom line, I gain so much by spending time on myself learning that there are so many ways to intelligently, psychologically, physically, and spiritually love yourself. I look back at some examples where in choosing self love I detached myself from a living situation that was stressing me out to say the least. That decision was met with "resistance" and they chose not to speak with me for more than a year. "They" being my brother it stung a little...okay a lot, but we've since come together as adults with wisdom attained in hindsight. Being the big brother that I am, I was in the right lol. Hey he said it himself. Love you bro. And at the time, it was for the best and helped so many things to line up so that my journey could continue. Too many of us are caught up in the reaction and satisfaction of others that we end up rejecting our own needs. Rather than losing ourselves in the relationships with others we would do well to "reclaim our time" and build a loving relationship with ourselves...put you first, you've been away from yourself for too long and it's past time to live your truth. . . . . #awareness #understanding #commitment #preparation #vibes #happiness #meditation #thoughts #words #dailycalm #action #character #destiny #positive #motivated #habits #goals #motivation #namaste #energy #preparation #today #now #live #love #lifestyle #dedication #life #goals #struggle

It is decisiveness, commitment, dedication, persistence and repetition, ritual. While our subconscious mind learns through experience, the way to train and (re-)program our conscious mind is through repetition. They say to develop a new habit or replace an old habit with a new one takes so many days (2 months or 66 days on average to be exact, obviously dependent on the individual and their influencing factors.) We choose our direction and can live and be anything we want. If we decide to face that direction AND START walking it. It's about the little decisions we make throughout daily life that make the big chance as we develop rituals and habits that are determining our results. We can easily choose to get up early and we can just as easily just not. We can easily choose to give our best in what we are doing or we can just as easily choose not to. We can choose to eat that daily apple as step towards better health or we can just as easily choose not to do it. Success is 'easy' and it is just as easy to fail. I was asked to teach group exercise while attending GVSU during my freshman year. At the time my major was nursing. Long story short, I switched my major to Movement Science soon after becoming a fitness instructor. I've worn many hats over the years, group exercise instructor, I've taught every strength class you could think of, cardio classes, including spinning, and boot- camp. Massage therapist, Pilates, yoga just to name a few! I'm currently a coach, I work in sales and I have a side business where I specialize in Fitness/ Wellness and nutrition online coaching! While,I'm capable of coaching anyone, women and mommas hold a special place in my heart. 😍 I know how precious your time is, but I also know how valuable your health is to your family. ♥ I'm a single mom of two very active children, so I am super busy all the time.
