- Here's a great exercise that @kieferlammi programmed into my workouts. . I am using the single leg squat stand from @perform_better but you can also use a bench. . The Set Up 🔥 1. Shoulder blades lined up on the roller of the squat stand 2. Perform a single leg bridge and hold the top position 3. Bring the plate over your head (shoulder flexion) while maintaining your bridge position 4. Repeat for the other side. . I am using a 10 pound bumper plate for this exercise. I like the bumper plate as it is wider, and creates a more neutral position for my shoulders and grip. . 🤝Was this helpful? - In honor of my #neverskipamonday philosophy, I'm knocking out a quick little workout even though I'd rather be diving into my bed to try to sleep off the bug kiddo was nice enough to share with me 🤧 - So i figured a slight variation to my usual go to might provide just the right motivation to knock this out! Doing handstand pushups this way definitely adds an element of flexibility and control, the closer your hands are together the tougher of an arm workout it becomes! If you struggle with your balance try this little adaptation to be able to hold your handstand longer even if you can't do a pushup with it, the pushups will come once you build the strength! 💪 - If you haven't yet, be sure to get those Monday workouts in and have a great night everyone 😊
