- @alexia_clark full body session done! Is it just me or do the workouts seem a lot shorter this week?? I was able to get all 5 circuits in less than 55 min. That’s not to say they’re not great workouts & no i don’t think you need to spend hours in the gym i just had gotten used to the longer ones is all! . I lovedddd today’s workout tho! - Whats your favorite to train? We all have our favorite body parts or ways we like to train. . . When I was 19 and on one of my many stints at exercise and wanting to look better.. think "Muscle Fitness Hers"πŸ™Œ.. I would train legs so hard and long 1 to times per week then be done for another couple weeks bc I destroyed them,πŸ˜‚ lol I was underconditioned and had no foundation. . I also had poor advise from 1st boyfriend, "go do the stair climber for an hour a day blah blah" 😣 idiot. . I had zero desire to train upper body bc I hated the way my lower body looked, that was my only focus... Because even though I has lost weight, my shape still upset me. 😒 . 2 lessons learned: 1.) Women need to train their whole bodies. Yes, You can concentrate on lagging areas and those areas we want the most growth in(πŸ‘) BUT NOT skip entire muscle groups. Why, because you can create shape that disguises your body. πŸ˜‰ . For example I never have a tiny narrow waist. Yes, it gets smaller, but 24inches may never happen do to my structure. Don't get me wrong, you will see picture that look as though it's that circumstance, but it is NOT! . To create an illusion of that, I need to train upper body and lower body. Building upper body will create a narrower looking waist. . 2.) Sometimes those that are Important to us offer advice that's not right, flat out wrong, and have no business doing so (even though their intentions are well). . - With just 4 weeks left of this round of BBG, I’ve had a slight change in attitude β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” my workout habits: i’ve been trying to listen to my body more. For example, today i planned on running 3 miles for liss. After the first mile, I was tired and didn’t feel like running anymore so instead i walked the next 2 miles. I am trying to teach myself that working out isn’t punishment for eating. so rather than pushing myself past what my body wants to do i took it easyπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ🏼 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” my eating habits: i’ve been trying to teach myself that everything in moderation is okay. i’ve been letting myself indulge in small amounts a lot more lately than I usually do. I have found that when I restrict myself, I am very prone to binging and that’s a lot worse for me than treating myself little bits at a time🍭🍨🍫 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Not gonna like, it is a little bit scary letting go of my strict control like this. Summer, is that you πŸ˜…? #wishfulthinking Jokes aside, my walk yesterday brought me back down to earth and made me realize any sort of lifting is out of the question, at least for the next couple days. When I got home my mid back started spasming (I am assuming in response to compensating for my low back being injured) and I was so uncomfortable all night. I am trying to be patient with my body and let it heal while still moving at least a little bit every day. Here’s hoping it feels better soon!
