- I forgot to post this for #weaksaucewednesday lolol. Truth is, I've been struggling with some hormone issues and injuries for a few months and I'm working on regaining my strength and health. Funny what stress will do to your body! I took a week off of the gym, which is a first for me, and I'm back at about 80% strength wise. - I can't do any pressing exercises like bench and squats and ohp because of the pressure on my spine, so I have been working on my form on pullups and deadlifts and rows, basically every pulling lift I can do. Deadlifting with the trap bar I have always considered cheating, but the neutral grip really takes the strain off of my shoulder and I feel like my form is tighter when I don't dread how it's going to hurt. - I also lowered my reps and rest period and increased sets, pulled 225 for 6 sets of 5-7 with about a 55 second rest in between sets.
