I can't explain how desperately I need this Advent rest and renewal... I was feeling guilty because my only real Advent plan so far for our calendar is to read Scripture each day. Finally, while I was reading the passage put of Genesis 3 that goes with this devotional, it occurred to me how silly it is to think the few verses aren't enough. Quinn listened more than I thought he would, but not as much as I wished. Aiden sang Happy Birthday and tried to blow out the wreath candle about 30 times. (His name means "fiery" - what? He's afraid of competition?!?) BUT IT WAS REPEATABLE. It's new tradition. It's tradition that even Quinn won't remember a time before... (I promise I'll update the calendar project pictures. Someday.)
