- I was so moved to return to the @museedep.arlesantique over the weekend and to revisit the exceptional intact Roman boat that was found buried in the Rhône River, brought to the surface and then renovated as part of Marseille-Provence Capital of Culture 2013. I followed this project for three years both as a journalist and as a part time assistant to @remibenali who covered the story for National Geographic. On one of the final shoots for this story, we spent six hours alone in the museum at night (with the security guards of course) as the photographer made a continuous light painting and I "clicked" when needed. As one of only a dozen intact boats from antiquity in the world, it merits its status as a French National Treasure, on par with the Mona Lisa. I am extremely proud to have had even such a small involvement in such a monumental project.
