My grandmother passed away at the turning of the Autumnal Equinox, this past Saturday. I was thankfully able to sit still with her and say as close to a goodbye as I could express. I couldn't help but feel like this is a true turning of a new season. The passing of a kind, resourceful, truthful and stubborn woman leaves me tender and thankful for these traits that are instilled in my bloodline.
