Farhana's Fish Curry😋
Soak some methi/fenugreek seeds beforehand
Make a wagaar with seeds and liemrie/curry leaves and onion cut in rounds, it must be thickish, not chopped fine.
Marinate fish with Sujee's Fish&Prawn Masala, add some tomato puree and about 2 grated or liquidised tomatoes. Once onions are braised add fish and let it cook. Once its almost done add some brown sugar and aamli/tamarind, I usually just keep a bottle of Quality Pickle's Tamarind Sauce (made in Cape Town), ever since I found this I've gone lazy to soak aamli 😁 (can be used as a samoosa sauce as well and the other sauces are just as yummy)
Sprinkle some garam masala, and cut up some spring onion and green dhania.Done.
