- Monday morning with @fiveminutejournal and affirmations from one of my favorite sports psychology books. I’ve been starting every day this way along with meditation, visualization, reading, and movement as part of @themiraclemorning and it’s been incredible. Like, I go to sleep excited to wake up early. I LOVE learning about other people’s morning routines too (I’ve gone down that Youtube rabbit hole more than once 🙈) How do you guys start your days? Hit me with your tips! 💕👊🏼

- Sunday morning done right 🙌🏼 I’m loving these Japanese sweet potato fries. They’re not as sweet as the orange ones and they get a bit crispier in the oven too. So basically, they’re closer to regular potatoes which is what (my) dreams are made of. I toss them in @chosenfoods avo oil with garlic and dried parsley, roast them at 425 for about 20 min, flipping halfway through, then finish with sea salt. So easy to prep for the week and so good 🍠 #northoureats #weirdbutaccurateemoji

- GF peanut butter oatmeal cookies with @eatingevolved drizzle, you guys. These are good. Maybe too good. Pay no attention to the cookie in the corner 😆 1 cup PB (or nut butter of your choice) at room temp 2/3 cup @navitasorganics coconut sugar 2/3 cup @bobsredmill gluten free rolled oats 2 large @vitalfarms eggs 1 tsp vanilla bean paste 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cinnamon Preheat oven to 350. Mix all wet ingredients until combined, then stir in dry ingredients. Chill dough in the fridge for about 20 min then roll into tablespoonish sized balls and press them down with a fork. Bake for about 10 min. They'll be veryyyy soft when they come out so allow them to sit for a bit on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack. Once they're fully cooled, melt half a bar (ok, use the whole bar) of @eatingevolved Signature Dark chocolate and drizzle your heart out. These hold up pretty well in the freezer for a couple weeks but don't expect them to last that long 😋#northoureats

- I wasn't born in Texas and I didn't grow up in Texas. I'm a New Yorker, through and through. But when I moved to Texas 5 years ago, this breathtakingly grand, beautiful state and its kind, generous people welcomed me with open arms. I found a place that my heart instantly recognized as home. • I'm one of the lucky ones. My close friends and family were spared from the devastating effects of Harvey. And I'm not worried about the spirit of Texas. These are fierce, resilient, unbreakable people. But now, they need our help. Please consider donating $10 to @americanredcross by texting HARVEY to 90999. • Or purchase a special piece of art for your home. My beautiful, big hearted soul sister @amandahartfield is offering a 20% discount on all of her fine art photography prints through Sept 5th with 100% of proceeds going to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. You can check out her gorgeous work through the link in my bio and use code TEXASILOVEYOU. • It's easy to watch this unfolding and feel powerless. But in this life, we get to choose how we respond. If you're local to Texas, consider donating your time. And if you have the financial means, please help ❤️ #texasstrong 📸 @amandahartfield

- These Peach and Coconut Cream Protein Popsicles came out SO delicious. Tart, refreshing, and just sweet enough. They're also loaded with coconut milk and collagen for healthy fat, lots of fiber, protein, and the added benefit of blood sugar stabilization. They're quick and easy to make and I won't even tell anyone if you eat one for breakfast tomorrow 🙊 Coconut Cream: 1 can full fat coconut milk 1 scoop @vitalproteins collage peptides 1/2 cup @bobsredmill unsweetened shredded coconut 2 tbsp honey 1/4 tsp real vanilla extract Peach Mixture: 3-4 juuuust ripe peaches 1/2 cup coconut milk 1 tbsp honey 1/8 tsp almond extract Blend coconut cream ingredients. Fill popsicle molds halfway and pop em in the freezer while you blend the peach mixture, then fill the remainder of the way. Freeze for about an hour, then put in your sticks and freeze overnight. I usually soak the molds for about 15 seconds in lukewarm water to get them unstuck, then wrap the leftovers in wax paper before throwing them back in the freezer in a @stasherbag. Let me know if you try these, I love to hear your feedback! #northoureats

- I was talking with a friend of mine last week about flowers, wondering why it is that they're so damn beautiful, and marveling at nature being generally amazing. It turns out that there's a reason why flowers are as beautiful as they are-- to attract the birds and insects that enable them to reproduce and flourish. • Another reminder of the absolute fact that nature (God, the Universe, whatever language resonates for you) is way more brilliant than any one of us.

- You guys. How have I been in San Diego for months and am only now checking out this beautiful place?? The question for our table today was "what's perfect about your life right now?" and my immediate response was "everything and nothing". I expected to have a different answer after giving it some more thought, but I'm realizing that it's actually as true as it gets for me. Nothing is perfect, but in the imperfection lies the lessons, the growth, the heartache, the joy. And that's absolutely perfect to me. What about you, friends? What's perfect in your life right now?
