- My little Izzy! The two older girls loved their time at Primary School, however this little one...not so much! To be fair the school were very good about all issues and anytime I spoke with them they addressed it. It was simply the case of dominant personalities and that very subtle bullying that happens among girls, mostly where there's exclusion but it's done in such an underhand way that it's so hard to express, yet it rips the heart out of both your child and you. I just did not want to see them break her sweet and innocent spirit. So thankfully we're now at the stage where Izzy is moving on to secondary school, the only girl in her class to choose to go to this particular school and I'm amazed at her courage and resilience, she's happy to leave the past where it belongs and look with hope and so much enthusiasm to the future! So very proud of my little girl and we're both looking forward to this new chapter that is about to begin in her life!

- This baby loves his grub, but judging by this expression, I'm thinking these oranges are maybe a little too tart πŸ˜‚. So, myself and the lovely @kittylarouxx and @kaelinwilson have started a new hashtag #thevillageunited and we're so happy with how so many have got involved so far!! Honestly love seeing the creative pictures and how you all seem to write so beautifully!! This week's theme is mealtimes! The lovely @huntersbohemia is kindly giving away a handmade pennant from their store to the winning entry, go over and have a nosey! As always, join in for a chance to win the prize or simply just join in for the fun as the aim always with starting this hashtag was to be as inclusive as possible and to give a little back ❀️❀️❀️

- All these clocks and not one with the correct time, I'm sure it's right for somewhere in the world πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but loving all the evening light tonight and know it's not going to last much longer so took a snap! Thank you for all the lovely comments on the last post! Was hoping to reply to them on my lunch break today but got unexpected company from a random person in a coffee shop (a whole other story) πŸ™ˆ so going to reply later once I get kids and all sorted as I really, really appreciated all your insight and lovely words of reassurance. Thank you so much ❀️

- I shy away from writing very much on here, shy away because I'd almost finished my PhD but then stupidly gave it all up! Since that point I've developed a complete aversion (probably actually a phobia) to writing anything much at all for fear it won't be good enough, eloquent enough or witty enough. However I just wanted to write something a little from the heart (nothing fancy, nothing earth shatteringly important) just to be honest as this has been on my mind quite a bit lately. Sooo...this centres around my doing the 'ads' at the moment! I worry what people will think of me...I remember even umming and ahhing before the very first one as I was so worried that people would think I was a sellout or fraud in some way...it was right up to the deadline and I still hadn't posted πŸ™ˆ! After a couple I grew in confidence as I saw how they could help our family, pay for the nicer extras and not just the necessities...the added bonus was that I was doing something I truly enjoyed! In addition to that I also felt a bit included in that side of the community which was really nice. I know taking a picture of butter or the humble spud mightn't float everyone's boat, but to me, I see it as a mini challenge and it does inspire me to be creative just as much as the pic without the #ad does. Also it will never substitute an income but when one kid is into everything from singing to gymnastics and the other has a penchant for urban outfitters clothing and the baby well is the ultimate food monster...it all helps! I know I sound like I'm justifying myself a little but I also know that people kind of hate them and just wanted to put myself out there a bit and show I'm not greedy, I dont think that anyone who does them is...it's just another job albeit a nice one but yet seems to have stigma attached. I'm aware there's a lot on my feed at the moment but you just don't know when you'll get one so you just grasp the opportunity when it arises. I'm just really loving being able to provide a bit more for my family in a way I really, really love πŸ“Έβ€οΈ

- This is how Miss Isabella feels about going back to school πŸ™ŒπŸ» A giant thank you to @Primark for helping us to get organised with their Back to School Range, you're really killing it this year! Izzy feels cool and on trend (she loves all the rose gold hardware on her coat 😍) and I'm happy as she's at that difficult inbetweeny age where I like to still make sure her clothes are age appropriate! Best of all the range is really reasonably priced which is crucial when trying to kit out three for school!! #ad #Primark #iworkwithprimark

- I recently got engaged and I'm delighted that we decided to go for a 1930s vintage engagement ring! I not only adore it's unusual characteristics but I also love that it has a story to tell! @fellowsauctions is every vintage jewellery lover's dream, with both antique and designer contemporary pieces! Also the beauty of an auction is that you can own these pieces at a fraction of the price! #fellowsauctions #auctions #jewelryaddict #jewellery #vintagejewellery #ad

- We got this rickety old piano years ago from a friend for Izzy to practise on...which is great...but interiors wise, it's an eyesore as it is quite battered! I never know how to style it either, if I put stuff on it, it just looks cluttered, if I don't it's too bare...in goldilocks terms...it's never quite right! Even tried to shuzzh (not a proper word) it up a bit with a fluffy chair and not sure if I'm going a bit Freddy Mercury's dressing room now!!! Should we just get rid (ie pass it on to pastures new) or if you have a piano how do you style/disguise yours? It's nearly worse than the TV predicament 😩!! Any advice very welcome!

- I have been asked a few times about which camera I use to take my photos, I always feel very flattered as I just use my phone and the Lightroom Mobile editing app. I like this app because it is really straightforward to use and creates sharp pictures with subtle filters that I just love. Check out the app as they even have a short but comprehensive tutorial, they also have a competition at the moment to win a pocket printer, you will find the link in my bio. All you have to do is edit your pic using the Lightroom App and then post on instagram or twitter using the hashtag #ShineThisSummeruk #ad @lightroom

- Recently we've been making some positive lifestyle choices as a family such as making an effort to head out each evening for brisk walks on the beach so we can catch up on how our day has been. There is just something about being by the sea which revitalises the body and soul. We've also made some adjustments to our diet, including eating more fresh fruit and veg as well as reducing our dairy intake by switching to @vitalite, we especially love the one which is blended with coconut oil. These small changes have all helped us on our pursuit of a more healthy lifestyle, feeling good! #ad #GoDairyFree #FreeFrom
