Always look for cinnamomum zeylanicum or burbanim, and avoid cinnamomum casia-the stuff that leaves a blob in the bottom of your cup.  Cinnamon is good for the heart and the skin. It also helps to keep the arteries clean, and its a good spice to use if you're trying to lose weight. It helps to normalize metabolic activity, digest toxins, and absorb nutrients.  It's very good for kapha types and those with diabetes.
