jocelynbaun - Jocelyn Baun @sbucha004 Aw Memphis
ptr0419 - Peter Dongon Nice photo shot
robimuah - Kwasi Somuah Haha I find all this funny cos the Greek word stauros on which their savior apparently diedis translated as torture stake . I repeat a stake not a cross . no mention of a cross whatsoever until later years due to it's religious significance in many cultures they were trying to convert .This whole cross business is an indication of just how far Christianity is off it's original path of truthfullness .
lisa.scheer - Lisa Scheer I'm still scratching my head. Maybe the savvy marketers who conceived this abomination mistook Ms. Liberty's crown for a crown of thorns.

411bee - 411bee Why are judging a photojournalist who is choosing to show you the kaleidoscope of life? Understand what is personal and what is reportage.
benlowy - Benjamin Lowy Thanks @411bee and @the_queen_redwolf It was just there on a video shoot we were working on.
nicole_m33 - Nicole Here here @411bee
the_queen_redwolf - 🌚🌿Lurix Tatiana Rust🌿🌝 It's a pretty cool deer head XD was it taxidermy or just a decapitated head?
benlowy - Benjamin Lowy @the_queen_redwolf it was a decapitated head. A hunter came home across the street from our shoot location. Random find.
411bee - 411bee Ben it's my grandparents' hometown, more or less. I'll be interested to see your video. If you're driving back you're always welcome in Sewanee TN to stop over. And i love this image for many reasons.
Instagram photo by benlowy - Ferguson, MO | November 25, 2014 A white protester, ignoring the pleas ignoring the pleas of her black friends stands in the street, her hands raised daring the police to arrest her, following a violent turn of events as angry protesters torched an unmanned police car parked outside the Ferguson City Hall, a day after violent riots followed the Grand Jury’s decision not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson in the death of unarmed black teen Michael Brown. I traveled to Ferguson for numerous reasons. I wanted to be there - to witness an important event both as a journalist and as a father. I am part of a mixed raced marriage. My kids are not white, and my wife @marvilacar has always reminded me that what I take for granted as a white man, will not always be afforded to my children. I was pretty discouraged by what I saw in Ferguson - A police force employing heavy handed tactics and horrible crowd control in the face of protesters trying to make their voices heard. At the same time, agitators hid in their midst, some from the neighborhood, others from out of town, who seemed to be taking advantage of the chaos and media attention that enveloped this suburb of St Louis. Ferguson has not been destroyed, it is not a city wiped off the map by riots - it is now ground zero for a new civil rights movement, an idea - that Americans need to wake up and do something about the state of race relations and policing in this country. #Photojournalism #documentary #reportage #ferguson
