- Too cool not to share. Thanks for posting @moysescott #Repost @moysescott (@get_repost) ・・・ Today I got to spend 90 minutes chatting to the #ZenithTecnica crew about #3dprinting #Titanium for a bunch of high tech industries and sports companies all around the world. All served up from Auckland, #NZ. These parts are printed using #EBM, not laser sintering. So each layer is heat treated and stress relieved before moving onto the next layer. They have 3 of the machines and one of them has the biggest print volume of its kind in the world. This particular piece is kind of morbid and sad, since it's a 1/4 scale 3D print of a teenage girls ribcage who passed away from bone cancer. A UK based artist had this printed from a CT scan. #Autodesk #Netfabb #WithinMedical #ln
