Follow along the video and remember this tips: - Pull knee towards the chest but not only that also pull it up so you round your back. - You should feel as if you are pushing the floor away. - Focus on core work so you do not over do it with wrists. It is ok if your wrists get tired but you should nit feel pain, so take brakes if needed. - This one can make your pulse go up, so be aware of that. Try to breathe deeply and to control your breath and if that means going more slowly than do it that way. - Eventhough this move is called knee to nose it doesn't mean ypu have to touch your nose with the knee, it is only indicating that you want to make a crunch. - Day 19. This is what class prep looks like for me. Lots of stuff that flows and makes sense, and then a bunch of time scribbling notes and rearranging the flow in my notebook. A first draft sequence to dancing shiva in the morning sun. My work with sequencing is wanting to make it a perfect flow with the coolest postures that perfectly line up to the peak. Always reminding myself that yoga isn't about that. I come to class to move, feel, heal, and live a more balanced life. Some of the best classes I've been to have had the simplest flows. They made sense in my body and the yoga did the work. Like many things, for me it's about finding a balance of sthira and sukha, steadiness and ease, strength and flexibility, hard work and letting go. It's a good way to maintain strength, release tightness in the body, and increase flexibility and blood circulation. We are all star jumpers 💫 + We were born from a star and maybe as we grew we hopped from star to star creating an intricate constellation that is all our own. + This is our unique design. + some of our stars contain our most cherished memories or our darkest days + Some stars we barely touch down our big toe before we jumped to the next ... some stars we linger on for years. + When we ask ourselves "how did I get here - how did I get to this place?"
