- Feel the sun get inside your room, and admire how slowly it starts to fill it with good energy. Feel the vibes touching your skin, and catch that tingly feeling of being in heaven. Because are the small things which are about to give you the most fullfil experience, and are also those the ones that would make you smile even if you are "dancing on your own". It's time for you to pay attention at your surroundings, you're never too far to feel like you are at home. Give yourself the chance of believing that you can change the world, because, at the end there's no reason not to follow your heart. - #sun #sky #smoke #window #motivation #motivationalquotes #goodvibes

- Oh how I wish I could show you the whole of these drawings! A follow up to last night's drawing of the curtains in the current White House Blue Room. Here we have the very same window but in two different periods. The first is from the Administrations of Truman through part of the Kennedy era. The second is older and dates from the time of Chester Arthur. He took a very different approach to the room, having it decorated by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Rather than the more familiar blue, the walls were covered in Robin's egg blue paper with a silver design. The walls grew darker as they reached toward the ceiling. While most of the photos of the room are in black and white and none too clear (the exception being a recent digital interpretation that was fascinating but didn't show the windows), other artists have attempted to capture the details. This is mine and I can't be at all sure that it's correct. Regardless of that AND the missing lower halves, I hope you enjoy!
