- Labne 👌🏻 Have you ever made your own cheese? So easy, so fascinating. I don't think we all have to start making our own cheese at home, but realizing that we COULD if we want to, makes it gloriously satisfying when you try it out. Not something I will do every week, but definitely a few times a year. . Mix 1 kg thick natural yoghurt with 1 tsp salt. Place in colander lined with muslin, over a bowl. Refrigerate over night. Discard drained liquid. Put olive oil on your hands and roll tablespoon fulls of the thickened mix into balls. It's very soft! One of things I also love is that if you have 1 son that hates red cabbage, red pepper and cucumber you can just leave this out and replace it with carrot, avocado, noodles and micro greens....winning! My boys love helping me to make these too.... takes lots of patience!!
