- Asian fusion combo - Hainanese rice balls, sambal pecel, curried cabbage with mustard seeds, steamed Chinese green and stir fry king oyster mushroom & carrot with sesame seed oil 🍚🍀 In one fusion bowl I have 6 variety of vegetables (cabbage, Chinese green, mushroom, carrot, onion & chilli in my sambal pecel) and variety of spices/condiments from garlic, ginger, kencur & mustard seeds 🍲 The art of food combination is an art of healing. Turmeric in curry powder + cabbage, increase the ability to reduce risk of prostate cancer. Fat soluble vitamin such as vitamin A in carrots works wonder when cooked in a little bit of fat such as oil. Crushed garlic produce alliin (yep, crushed or chopped your garlic for the full benefits) and when cooked in oil or water reduce the irritation to the stomach. Mustard seeds when combined with lutein in carrots can discourage tumor growth and create a protective barrier against carcinogens. You have 1001 ways to make your food better and some combination really work to maximise the phytochemicals in plant based foods🍀 Hainanese rice balls - boiled your vegetable stock with crushed garlic, ginger & onion, add in your rice and cooked until fluff. Drizzle with sesame seed oil, make into balls and rolled in sesame seeds for more rich taste 🍚 Sambal pecel - similar recipe as my sambal gado-gado in few posts back but sambal pecel is more to a sweeter side (I use a drizzle of melted palm sugar) and less the citrus flavor (no citrus juice, just a drizzle of tamarind juice) and more flavorful when using toasted ground nuts🌱 Curried cabbage is a simple stir fry shredded white cabbage with ground curry spice and tempered mustard seeds🌿 . . . . . #vegan #vegetables #plantbased #nutrients #nutrition #fitfood #fitnessmeal #fitnessfood #healthyfood #eatclean #cleaneating #eatyourrainbow #eathealthy

- "The Pacific Northwest is by far my favorite place to be. From the scenic drives to the relaxing lifestyle, I can see why people fall in love with the west coast. I embarked on this journey with my friend, @mattmarcheski, and together we drove from Washington to Oregon. I met Matt through@njspots on Instagram, and we've been exploring ever since then. It's amazing how this little app on our phones can bring soooo many people together. Definitely thankful for this opportunity" 📷@michael_danila
