- I always knew I cared about what others thought, but I never realized how much it consumed the things I did. A few months back one of my besties @evergreenfitnessgirl told me to read this and it was life changing. If you can handle a little language (totally a millennial book) then I'd recommend reading this. It makes you change your perspective on things and honestly, stop giving a crap about what everyone thinks, which is something that is SO important when it comes to self love ❤️

- I swear it’s the cold that never leaves! I woke up this morning with no voice and an upset stomach so I tried to calm it down with cereal and strawberries. When you’re sick and very little sounds good, you just take what you can get! . . After lounging for a while I started to wake up a bit and decided to give a workout a try - that’s usually what makes me feel better most days! Little did I know it was the hardest workout of the program I’m doing right now. 😂 Regardless, I pushed play and did my best! Did I modify at times? Absolutely! Did I take more breaks than normal? Duh, my body isn’t 100%! Did I get upset with myself? Absolutely NOT! I pushed play and that’s all that matters! . . Sickness takes a toll on our bodies - and most of the time we just eat what sounds best at the time for sake of getting food into our stomachs and keep it there. As a result, I’ve been consuming more grains than I normally would be. Have I gained weight? Nope! Have I lost any? Nope! Do I feel a bit fluffier than normal - unfortunately yes, grains will do that to you! But that’s okay! My body is healing and I know exactly what I can do to get back on track when this sickness has left! Don’t beat yourself up! We can’t be 100% in it 100% of the time! 😘
