1. Create a V on your top half by wearing an open shirt/cardigan, a long necklace, a loose scarf or a v-neck top. This will give the illusion of balance through the shoulders and hips and will pull in the waistline.
2. Create a line through your middle by adding detail to the waist area, wearing a belt or a top where the hemline stops at the waist or by tucking the top in. This will give the illusion of a narrower waist.
