- It feels like I'm standing next to a fire but I can't feel any of its heat. I see the flames and hear the cackles as it engulfs everything in its path, but I can't feel the heat. Is it me, or is it the fire? Have I become so numb that I lack the capability of feeling its warmth? Is it because the fire isn't hot enough? I reach out towards this fire hoping to feel something. Anything. But I draw my hand back quickly.  Not just because I am scared of the pain. But because I can't feel anything at all.

- I've been experimenting with some dietary changes to see if I can help myself to feel better both physically and emotionally. Slowly transitioning to align more with the seasons and practice some #ayurvedic techniques. It's been really interesting putting these new rituals in place. Using certain oils, drinking special teas, and timing my meals according to when digestion is strongest. This week I am doing some intermittent fasting. It's something I started to slowly work up to in order to have my last meal at 2pm. Mindset is anything and everything when taking on something new. You have to be ready and open vs resisting the change. This takes a support system of people and practitioners which I believe is important for everyone to have. Pictured here is eggs from @amishhealthyfoods which are my favorite, veggies and lean ground beef from @doortodoororganics. Quality of food can also impact how you feel. My journey is continuous, with a winding road that always opens up new doors.
