- Diwali is just around the corner and for many people the celebrations have already begun.  The fact is that during the festive season people are elated and hence the tendency to eat more increases, and many end up eating foods they shouldn’t be eating For those who were missing my workout videos or pics this is quick motivation for them as well😇 I may not been able to hit gym here as I am on Diwali vacations but I go for a regular morning walk/jog people so that I will not loose my stamina or gain an extra fat on my body due to change in eating pattern or festive food. Here are some tips to help you enjoy a healthy and pleasurable Diwali without gaining weight: 1.Keep portion distortion in check . 2.Take smaller bites . 3.Eat homemade sweets . 4.Restrict the amount of sugar and salt intake . 5.Increase your water intake 6.Walk as much as you can 7.Plan your dinner  If you have already consumed a lot of calories during the day, make sure that either you have a glass of milk, buttermilk, cold coffee, fruit salad or try some low carb fat-free foods. #stayfit
