- Still no running for me. 😔This calf strain is the worst. I find myself feeling really down about this and incredibly frustrated. I know it takes time and it's only been 2.5 weeks, but I'm going a bit insane right now. 😩😫 • Got back on the bike today. 🚴🏼‍♀️ Felt a little tightness, so felt it best not to do the full hour and definitely didn't want to attempt any running. - Ach ja! Als ich gestern die ganzen Marathonbilder sah, wurde es mir ganz warm ums Läuferherz 😍 Nur noch einige Wochen bis NYC und ich freue mich schon so sehr darauf, nur habe ich momentan leider etwas zu kämpfen... 03.50 Uhr mehrmals in der Woche aufzustehen führt am Nachmittag zu einem ordentlichen Tief... manchmal habe ich es trotzdem geschafft in die Laufschuhe zu schlüpfen oder es einfach sein gelassen 👟 Aber wisst ihr was ? Wenn man platt ist, ist man platt! Wichtig ist es doch sich nicht zu sehr unter Druck zu setzen... Klar ist das Training das A und O und eigentlich müsste ich noch viel mehr machen.. aber das Arbeitsleben geht einfach vor und von allein verdienen sich die Brötchen auch nicht 😅 #keinvollzeitblogger ! In NYC wird sowieso nicht auf PB gelaufen, sondern einfach alles genossen und die Stimmung mitgenommen 😍 Wie macht ihr das wenn ihr einfach erschöpft seid ? Könnt ihr euch trotzdem dazu zwingen oder lasst ihr es auch einfach mal sein ? Ich finde solche Pausen ja absolut wichtig, denn unser Körper zeigt uns nun mal wo es lang geht. Habt einen schönen Abend ❤️

I've been back to my pre-baby weight since my third week postpartum but that doesn't mean that everything is back to normal. I have loose skin in areas I didn't used to and I lost a lot of muscle. I know I'll eventually get back the body I once had. - I’m honing in on 6700 followers which means lots of new faces! Let me tell you a little bit about me: - I built a career on something I was horrible at my entire life: athletics. I didn’t even attempt to run a mile until age 27. Since then I’ve become an RRCA certified run coach and race director, founded and currently direct my city’s marathon, and travel to expos as a sales rep for @bondi_band. - I have a seven year old stepson, three year old daughter, and son in the Way. All March babies 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m a mid pack runner. I don’t take pride in being fast; I take pride in being me. -My favorite playlist is called “cheesy 80s ballads.” That should tell you something about my music tastes... I’m a writer or something like that... - Last year, I walked out of my high paying corporate senior management position to direct a marathon and change my community.
