- @jess_zanotti just got her copy of #OneAwareMag and took it to the beach - and I'm one part super jealous and one part wtf is up with the weather this year?! It's still beach weather in Cali?! ๐Ÿ™„ when I notice shifts like this I feel the need to keep on improving on my steps towards a sustainable, zero-waste life!!!! Who's with me?? She inspires me immensely with her determination and perseverance. Below is her story. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น Wendi says, โ€œWhen I weighed in 11 pounds lighter last week I jumped and scared my dog. Doing the 3-Week Yoga challenge and sticking to a weekly planned diet was hard at times but so worth how I felt in the end. My commitment has been geared to myself. So many times I have begun a program only to wish I had finished. This was laid out and simple to follow once I got the hang of it. I can't wait for my next victory. It felt good - SO GOOD - to finish the yoga, a box of shakes and have I mentioned how many vegetables I ate!? My commitment to myself was the best one I have made. My biggest struggle so far has been working out every day. I have Eosinophilic Esophagitis, and it has been affecting my lungs and joints hard lately. But I try my hardest and push through until my body says no more. It will take time, and I love having Jill to keep me going and remaining positive. My biggest motivator has been the small victories along the way. I want more personal goals met and the insta-smile that comes with them. I print off the workout calendar and tape it to my desk. Everyday I come in, I mark off the workout if I did it! The teacher in me wants X's on everyday-it's a sense of accomplishment! As long as I need a healthy lifestyle motivation, I will continue to be in the challenges! Also-the shakes have become a need for me daily as my medicine is for me! My goal is to finish the 21 Day fix workout plan! He represents teen "angst" and "rebellion." ๐Ÿ˜• I read #TheCatcherintheRye when I was over my teen years (maybe when I was 22 or 25) and I didn't like it one bit. Mainly because Holden was bitching about everyone and everything. It's like someone turned on the #CapsLock key on him. Even the title is in all caps. Should've guessed! I always compare Holden to #BellaSwan from #Twilight because she too was dumping on everyone even if they were nice to her. The only thing she found satisfaction with/in was #EdwardCullen. The Catcher in the Rye is not a bad book. It's a classic that a lot of people love.
