- _______________________________ L🚁 ~ When we are on the subject of the progress vs tradition dichotomy, we need to first point out that there are two recognizable forms of progression. One of them being social and the other, economic. Now, in my opinion, there is only one good form of progression. That form being economic progression. Now economic progression is almost always a good thing to chase, we want to create jobs, reduce unemployment and increase our wealth and strength as a nation. Now if there is one thing that truly corrodes the power and unification of a said nation, it is too much, if any, social progress. The goal of this false good that mainstream society calls "social progress" is to push a cultural marxist agenda in order to divide the nation into little collectives, smashing traditional values, inhibiting any sort of unification amongst civilians. Social progress encourages people to abandon culture and abandon tradition, making them less proud of their heritage and the achievements of their ancestors. This is why we must reject as much progress as possible, it corrodes our society and brings down the people within it. β€’ CπŸ—½~ You need both tradition and progress. As a nation, we should never lose touch or abandon our cultures, traditions or customs. But we do need an element of social progress within our societies in order to make life better for our civilians at large. The greatest progress that we can give a collective of individuals is freedom. The freedom for people to live their lives without our image of what they SHOULD be governing their every action and life choice. β€’ NπŸ¦‹ ~ Both. Now this really plays into a phenomina known as the "conservative dilemma" as most political scientists call it. This dilemma features the problematic of whether to progress socially, but slowly, or keep traditions and stay the same. At the end of the day, in my opinion, I am on the side of this conservative dilemma that is in favor of progression, but not in the same rapid way that many left-wing ideologies choose to pursue it. We need to always be looking for ways to improve the quality of life for our citizens, while acknowledging that -
