- I met Elliott when I was 5 years old. He was the new kid in the neighborhood so I knocked on his door and asked if he wanted to play. We became best friends. My first grade journal still has crayon drawings of us building forts in his backyard & battling dragons. Almost two decades later, post-college, in-between travels, we still find time to play. Elliott has always been an inspiration to me. He's the quintessence of, "work hard, play hard." While I was at work, I got a text from him, asking if I wanted to climb the Pfeifferhorn when I got off. I was exhausted but couldn't refuse a sojourn in the Wasatch. We were the only people up on the pinnacle that evening and spent our time catching up, talking birds, geology, and watching the incredible sunset from 11K feet in the isolated wilderness before scrambling down in the dark to head home. Playtime is always eventful with Elliott. Cheers, @elliottcasper
