This style of yoga involves long stretch holds & breath work--it's my go-to for anxiety management🙇‍♀️😊• • Slow diaphragmatic breathing improves your body's response to stress by strengthening the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest functions) & decreases blood pressure & heart rate--resulting in decreased sympathetic nervous system ("fight or flight" or panic) reaction intensity.
