Assess your activities for the week. Make a note of your work schedule, and any nights you will need a quicker dinner, and the nights which you may have more time to cook. 2. Take note of what food you already have in your refrigerator, freezer or pantry to use up and include these in your meals for the week. 3. Decide on your meals to make it easier.Have a list of tried-and-true recipes as well as a list of new recipes you would like to try. 4. Using your recipes that you have created a grocery list. Take your list to the store, purchase your ingredients and do some meal prep on the weekends. 5. Choose recipes you can easily make a big batch of and freeze, like chili or soup's.
