. . . #sea#Odessa#summer#summertime#like#follow#goodweather#nostalgy#blue

- From day 115 (15th June) : There was it, my first day back to work. Alarm clock at 6 a.m. awake from around 4.30 a.m. with the sun. Swallowed up a banana and yet was off to the bus. What I love with being a Barista is to wake up early, enjoy the quietness of the neighborhood, and the chill of the caressing breeze in the morning. The 38 arrived from down the bridge, and it was a delightful moment of starting a whole new yet same old routine, especially when you exactly know how long it's gonna last this time ! I sat by the window, observing the city slowly waking up, birds fluttering around on the pavements whilst no pedestrian was around, city cleaners changing bin bags in the streets, early wakers having peaceful walks and early workers forcing open the metal shutters of their eyes while showing a massive sleep wrinkle on the cheek. I finally arrived at this well known black corner at the crossing of Denmark St and Flitcroft St. Getting back in there felt like I never left. Everything was so familiar, so much that my old opening habits kicked back in, yet was I putting the delivered milk in the fridge, taking down the chairs, place cuttlery pots, etc, without even thinking what to do next... Now all this was done, the real fun was starting. While facing the shinny #lamarzocco, I turned on the grinder which wished me good morning with a long and blaring *BIIIIIIIIIIIP!*. I then sliced open a new bag of beans releasing warmth and delicate scents embleshing, even more, my morning, tucked it all into the grinder and started to dial in. It feels like chemistry, tweaking the thickness of the grind, trying to make the most perfect espresso. Then comes the part I do the staff's coffees and it feels like they all wait for you in the morning to save them from sleepiness. Like a bunch of baby birds in a nest waiting to be fed. To be continued […] #barcelonatomongolia #coffeeroad #nomoney #roadtrip #foottrip #hitchhiking #baristadaily #earlybird #coffeelife #nostalgy #imambayildi #illustration #penandink #fernandezandwells #break
