I didn’t for the longest time to be honest.  I thought I was born to be 200 pounds.  I was meant to be big and fat.  I was destined to shop in the plus size section my whole life.  But guess what?  The more I concentrated on how far away I was from my goal, how hard it was going to be, and how much I thought “I am meant to be a big girl Kristina” ….the more those things came true!  But once I started to stop with the pity party and excuses, things started changing.  I pulled myself up off of the floor, stopped feeling sorry for myself and just started to get to work.  My coach gave me the support that I needed for so long and I haven’t stopped since.  Quit telling yourself you can’t do this.  Because if you have a plan and support and a big WHY, you can do anything!  After trying and failing again and again, it was hard for me to believe in myself but I did it.  60 pounds later and I am so glad I decided to change my mindset and go for this. Start off by lying on your back with your feet straight out in front of you, on the floor and your hands under your booty. Flexing your feet and keeping your legs straight, lift your legs up towards the ceiling until they are even with hips or as high as you are able to go. Then slowly lower your legs back toward the floor, maintaining control til they are about six inches off the ground. They should not touch the ground. Then open your legs as wide as you're able and close them back together. Then repeat. . 👉🏼 Try doing 2 sets of 20 reps.

Instagram photo by lysefitnessaddict - I had several people ask me for this recipe and how I made the Grilled Tilapia from last week so here it is.......Tilapia Ingredients: 1/3 cup Extra-virgin olive oil 1 Tbs fresh lemon juice 1 Tbs minced parsley 1 clove minced garlic 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 tsp sea salt 4 tilapia fillets  Directions: In a small bowl whisk together the EVOO, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, basil, salt & pepper. Pour into in a large ziplock. Then add in your tilapia fillets and seal the ziplock making sure to get all the excess air out.  Then just squeeze around the marinade and fillets to make sure all get a good coating. Then let them marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.  While that's going you can prepare your Mango salsa... Ingredients: 1 large ripe mango peeled, pitted, and diced 1/2 medium red bell pepper, diced 2 Tbs minced red onion 1 Tbs chopped fresh cilantro  1 chopped jalapeño (if you don't care for a spicy taste then be sure to take out the seeds) 2 Tbs lime juice 1 Tbs lemon juice Salt & pepper, to taste  Directions: Combine the mango, red bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeño in a small bowl then add in the lemon & lime juice. Season with salt & pepper. Stir til combined well. Then cover your bowl with cling wrap and put it in the fridge til ready to serve. * For a less chunkier salsa you can put this in the blender or a food processor and blend it up to your liking.  Once your fillets are almost done marinating you can preheat your BBQ pit to a medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.  I just used a stovetop indoor grill pan on medium heat this time. If you have a nonstick one even better but if not then be sure to use nonstick spray or a teaspoon of grassfed butter on your grill pan.  Take the fillets out of the ziplock making sure to spread around the marinade evenly on each of the fish and throw away the marinade/ziplock. Place each fillet on your BBQ pit or grill pan making sure they are not touching. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of your fish). You want your to be white and no longer translucent anywhere. It should flake easily with a fork.  Then serve & top your tilapia with the mango salsa. Enjoy : )
