- Good evening everyone. How the day 16 TAPPING CHALLENGE going. Today is about FEAR. How your day. My day been ok. Very very busy and long day, and ok day. I won't say excellent or good. It ok. Work was great as always. I had to sort few things out which I had wrong and I actually felt again like a FAILURE. I had all those EMOTIONS and THOUGHT all rushing back. I felt so Awful as said WHY always me, every time I make a mistake and I don't succeed. Felt like giving up, walk away and brush everything away, and don't even attempt again. I then walk away feeling like a FAILURE. As I was walking I then realise am FALLING back to old HABITS. I then said to my self, am going to have a drink, go for a walk and come back and attempt what I was doing. I REFRAME my thought to say it not FAILING it an experience of how not to do it like this. I felt better after my drink and break and I attempted the task and I did it. Was quiet please. Not exactly the result I was looking for at the same time it positive result. It ok to have this feeling and feeling bit down, as long as you don't allow it to override you.#tap #tapping #control #consultation #consultant #negative #negativity #nlppractitioner #nlp #eft #enjoy #emotions #reaction #eftmatrixreimprinting #belief #believe #behaviour #behavioursupport #anxiety #anxious #affect #achievable #actions #journey #accomplished #inspire #change #challenge #consultant #consultation

- Social media initially inspired us to do vanlife, and still inspires us. This is exactly how we came to learn about this movement and it encouraged us to take the leap. Photos of other people’s vans on Instagram helped us come up with ideas for our own build, and now Instagram inspires us to check out awesome locations that others have traveled to. We had never known that Banff was a place that existed and after seeing so many #beautiful photos from there, we are excited to add that to our list of stops. . . As far as the whole “Instagram skewing the Vanlife realities:” I hear this complaint ALL the time, but I don’t truly understand where it is coming from. My only guess is maybe not everyone reads the captions on Instagram, because in the captions so many people talk about their vans breaking down, or tiffs with their traveling companions, or plans having to change due to circumstances out of their control, etc. Everyone is always talking about these things. Sure, the photos are always stunning and incredibly beautiful, but if you pay attention the realities of living in a van are on full display all over Instagram. . . I think the #problem a lot of people have is with the positive mindset of a lot of vanlifers. We don’t let a massive breakdown in the middle of nowhere ruin our travels, or week, or even day. As with most things in life, you need to take the good with the bad and remind yourself of how temporary everything is - especially during those hard times. . . So people want to see us torn apart that we need to drop $1,000 to fix the transmission, when really we’re sitting there so happy that we don’t need to buy an entirely new transmission, and hey, we can spend some time getting to know this new area while the van’s in the shop. So the people that fuel off of the negativity or drama of life’s mishaps walk away feeling dissatisfied and turned off because we don’t let these unexpected obstacles consume us or hinder our experiences. Because if we did - we would barely be able to survive one week of vanlife.
