- My sleeping pills. ๐Ÿ’Š๐Ÿ’Š Jokes, these are Magnesium Bis-glycinate capsules. You know how important good sleep is for repairing all your organs, right? But did you know that Magnesium can be used to promote sleep? Magnesium is literally depleting from our bodies all day: when we consume sugary stuff, when we're stressed and tense, when we're exercising our muscles, etc. What about leg cramps at night? That can often be a sign of low levels of Magnesium too! So here's what I do: towards the end of the day(and especially if I've had bouts of #anxiety or nervousness, or pushed my muscles hard that day), I'll take some while I'm winding down for bed. Sometimes I take 2 capsules, or 3, or 4! Because Magnesium is depleting so quickly, you can take a lot to get those levels back up in order to promote relaxation. ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿฝ And you know how you know if you've taken too much? Your digestive tract will let you know when those muscles start to relax and you start to have loose๐Ÿ’ฉ. I know...gross, right? ๐Ÿ˜ I'm a Holistic Nutritionist though, so I'm allowed to talk about poop! ๐Ÿ˜‡ But for real, if that does happen...no biggie! - I hate doing cardio on a machine unless it's the stair master, but even then it gets boring doing the same thing, so I started jump roping and it's starting to become my fav!! I just need more practice. When I first started I couldn't even last 1min w/o being completely out of breath and kept stopping from how tired I was getting.
