- At #36weekspregnant, sitting comfortably is pretty nonexistent for me. Luckily that's where #prenatalyoga comes in! One of my favorite #asanas is a modified halfway lift with blocks. Tuck your baby in slightly, stack your wrists underneath your shoulders, and keep a slight microbend in the knees and elbows to avoid hyperextending. This pose takes pressure off the pelvic area, allows you to maintain neutral spine, and takes some weight off the abdominal area by shifting your center of gravity. Hang out here and simply #breathe, or try moving into a wide-legged forward fold. Or, if you're feeling up for it, try some slow drop squats, #vinyasa style, inhaling booty drops down, exhaling the breath on the way up (and imagine yourself painlessly #opening, opening opening!). 🙌🏻😉👌🏻
