- While speaking to BBC Radio4, John Boyega confirmed that Tom Hardy, Prince Harry and Prince William will have cameos in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”! When asked if Prince Harry and Prince William had any lines in “The Last JedI”, Boyega said the following: “I’ve had enough with those Prince William secrets man, because I swear—there was images or whatever online. They came on set, they were there, man. Tom Hardy was there too, man, I’ve said it! I’m sick of hiding this! Someone leaked it or something, and then there was an image of some sort, and I was like ‘Damn!’ Every time I get asked I don’t know how to dodge it. Yeah, they were on set.” Cameos from Princes Harry and William have been rumored ever since they visited the films set last April. Earlier this year, Making Star Wars reported that “Tom Hardy plays a First Order stormtrooper [in the film]. Said stormtrooper glimpses FN-2187 on a secret mission but doesn’t realize it. The ‘incognito’ FN-2187 is surprised when the stormtrooper walks up behind him and slaps him on the ass. FN-2187 turns around and believes he’s dead. He’s surely going to be captured. The stormtrooper is elated to see his old friend from back during their First Order academy days. The stormtrooper congratulates FN-2187 on his promotion to Resistance infiltrator and spy. FN-2187 is free to go about his business to his amazement.” The Daily Mail previously reported that Princes Harry and William “filmed a scene in which Rey and Finn infiltrate a secret base. The rebel characters are in a lift with Benicio del Toro's character when a group of Stormtroopers enter - two of whom are William and Harry.” Singer Gary Barlow revealed this March that he will also have a cameo in “The Last Jedi”. The film, which stars Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Jimmy Vee, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, Veronica Ngo and Benicio Del Toro, is written and directed by Rian Johnson and hits theaters on December 15th, 2017.
