- For my birthday i am staying at a beachhouse with my family and im having so much fun! We went to the beach out front today and played volleyball and boche ball and i got some yoga in and now im relaaaaxing 😸 maybe ill even take a nap! - The other night I could barely get up into a headstand. I kept falling, pushing too far forward, had zero ab control, and felt defeated. I decided to go through my entire yoga routine in the middle of the gym at 130am to recenter myself after having such a stressful week. After doing so, I hit every single headstand again. (Still needs work) After knowing that my headstands are finally together, I decided I need something new to work on. Randomly decided that I wanted to try a handstand but was scared of failing because of how little upper body and core strength I have. Also afraid of falling. Surprised at how first try I was able to hold it . Can't wait to work on getting off the wall longer, eventually wanna do push-ups , walk on my hands, and get fancy with it 💪 got to get over this fear 🙍 don't wanna miss out on opportunities (I look like shit , don't judge )

- H E A D S T A N D // Some of you may remember that I ended up last year with two very specific goals in mind : Be able to do a headstand, and to do one pull-up. I chose these because they are something I have been wanting for a long time, and also because they were challenging my two ultimate fears (heights/falling) and weaknesses (arm and shoulder muscles) 😬 . . . After SEVEN MONTHS of trying and failing over and over again... I am SO HAPPY to say that this week marks the achievement of one of these two goals 🤗🎉 Truth is, there was too many times I thought I was crazy and maybe that just wasn't for me. I saw girls doing it in only few weeks as I was trying for months!! Did it stopped me? No. Should I have feel any less proud because it took me longer to get there? Surely not! 😃 . . . Our mind may be our most powerful tool, it may also be your worst enemy at the same time. Everyone is different and will succeed in different ways PERIOD. There is no place here for comparison, or competition in whatsoever form. Instead, we should learn to shift our mind to realize how hard we are working and fighting for our goals, and how we are surely doing the best way we possibly can. Changes doesn't happen overnight. We (you, me and everyone) have to learn to trust ourselves at some point, to make mistakes, get back up, trying OVER AND OVER again. Accomplishment of any kinds requires time and perseverance. And the day you finally get there, will only make you feel happier. You should never doubt yourself one second about something that is important for you.
